Martin D15 Slotted Headstock

It’s in really good condition, only a few superficial dings to the headstock and to the body. I've heard sapele has as great smell.

My 1930 gibson has wings. Following some date, if it didn't have wings it's most likely spanish cedar. It has an oversized dreadnought body that is about the size of a small rowboat, but still pretty comfortable to hold and play.

There are 9 different guitars in the 15 series and they all share a couple of things in common but all with differences too.

Excellent condition except for headstock ding adjacent to b string tuner (see photos). For 5% off any purchase. As you can imagine, the sound is really big, too.

Martin acoustic guitars made after 1985 have an adjustable neck tension rod located at either the headstock or body end of the guitar. It features a slope shoulder dreadnaught body all wood construction 12 fret joining wood shaller tuning machines, etc. It has never meant “slotted headstock” nor “sloped shoulders,” despite uninformed claims to that effect.

If you own a martin guitar manufactured before 1985 and want the neck adjusted, consult a professional technician.
